Smiles CM Ltd have undertaken many Commissioning Consultant roles ranging from initial design advice to on-site management of the commissioning process. Projects have included major infrastructure undertakings such as the Heathrow Terminal 5. These projects require experience and knowledge in a broad range of skills.

Typically Smiles CM Ltd are engaged to perform a variety of commissioning roles within the three commissioning stages of a project indicated below:

Stage 1 Design for Commissioning

Typically this is the most effective period in any project as it allows the experienced Smiles CM Ltd Commissioning Consultant to influence the design to accommodate the needs of commissioning and avoid incurred costs at a later date.

Stage 2 Review Period

The review period allows the Smiles CM Ltd Commissioning Consultant to ensure that the focus of commissioning is not lost when changes and additions are made to the base design. Furthermore the review period provides an essential link between the designers and the installers so that key decisions are not lost in the progression of the project.

Stage 3 Commissioning Management

Process mapping, scheduling, resource management, interface resolution, progress reporting and documentation all form part of this period of the project.
